Kim Jong-un Has Ex-Girlfriend Publicly Executed For Making Sex Tape

Everyone has an ex that he or she is bitter about, but most of us move on and never really address it.

Then again, most of us aren’t North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who is said to have ordered the public execution by firing squad of one of his former lovers after it was revealed that she released a sex tape.

North Korean pop singer Hyon Song-wol was killed via firing squad, along with 11 other entertainers on August 20, according to South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.

If being executed wasn’t enough, Song-wol and the others’ families were forced to watch the executions.

The group allegedly filmed themselves having sex and sold the videos, and was subsequently arrested for violating domestic laws on pornography, according to The Huffington Post UK.

Kim Jong-un and Hyon Song-wol met about a decade ago, but their relationship ended when Jong-un’s father, Kim Jong-il, did not approve of them.

Song-wol was in the same pop group as Jong-un’s wife, Ri Sol Ju, who may have been jealous of Song-wol’s former relationship with her husband.

That’s some pretty fierce jealousy if that’s the case. Then again, it’s North Korea, so none of this seems out of the ordinary for the country’s insane leader.

COZA Church Nigeria: Members Ask Pastor To Come Out Clean on Adultery Allegations

As the cloud of adultery mess hovers around the Ministry of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Common Wealth Of Zion Assembly, COZA, Nigeria. Concerned members of the church have expressed disappointment that the ‘Apostle’ has not clinically come out to either accept or deny the allegation levelled against him.

Fatoyinbo has been in the news for allegedly sleeping with one of his church members who gave her name as Ese Walter.

The wind blew and the chicken romp was exposed over the weekend when the lady in a tell-it-all article exposed her escapade with the man of God.

Ese in the controversial article entitled, “My affair with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA,” explained how she savoured the ‘John Thomas’ of the preacher for years before things fell apart between them.

However, the pastor has neither come out to refute or accept the allegation but claimed that when he asked God, God told him to keep quiet, a statement, which his teeming members have described as ‘immaterial.’

“Now read my lips, I know there are people here that are not part of our church, read my lips, we are going to speak but we are consulting to come out with a robust reply. Before then, I will not say anything, but I owe it to you as members that have made me proud and have made God proud,” he told his congregation during the Sunday Service.

Speaking with a source, a member of the church who gave his name as Israel (surname withheld) said the pastor should stop beating about the bush but come out to tell his members the whole truth.

“God can’t ask you to keep quiet in this matter because his name is at stake too. The church of God is being accused here and same God is telling him to keep quiet? That is immaterial, I can’t accept that. I came to church this morning to hear from him only for him to spoil my day with such statement.”

Asked if he would still continue to worship with the church, the fair completion man said, “I’m not worshiping the man of God, my aim is to make heaven at last, that won’t stop me from going to the church but we should not lie against God.” He added.

Another lady who gave her name as Tees, said, “The truth is that members of the church will support their pastor. The girl will be at the receiving end even if she is telling the truth. That’s Africa for you. If it were Yankee, They would investigate this man. Now the girl must feel like its a million people against one person. I believe her though, but I also believe she feels scorned. That is the root of all this revelation. Hell hath no fury like a “woman scorned”

For Simzie, the man of God is yet to clear the air on the matter.

According to her, “As far as I am concerned, you have not said anything to refute the allegation made against you, or maybe I do not understand your language. Just make it simple by saying NO, this never happened or better still if you are too proud or ashamed to confess to your subjects or congregation, then I suggest you go to a higher man of God and help yourself. One thing I am sure of is that you need help. Why do I believe Ese? I went through something similar in the hands of a man of God who claimed that he was visited by Jesus Christ in his home. Ladies, we really have to be careful. There is so much deception going on now in the world,” he warned.

Another angry member of the ministry who would not want his name mentioned said he would be disappointed if the pastor is found guilty of the allegation.

According to him, “There’s no smoke without fire, a lady would not just wake up and start writing what she doesn’t know. I just pray he’s impeccable because this is big shame to the body of Christ,” she said.

8-Year-Old Boy Shoots Own Grandmother Dead After Playing Grand Theft Auto Video Game

The boy intentionally killed his grandmother just after playing the violent video game Grand Theft Auto IV.

An eight-year-old boy shot intentionally shot and killed his own grandmother after playing the violent video game Grand Theft Auto IV.

Marie Smothers, 87, was shot in the back of the head as she watched television in her mobile home in the town of Slaughter, Louisiana.

Smothers, who was helping to look after the boy, was pronounced dead at the scene at the Country Breeze Mobile Home Park.

The child told investigators that he accidentally shot her while playing with a firearm, a .38 caliber handgun that belonged to Smothers.

However, authorities believe that the shooting was intentional, but did not reveal a motive.

They also pointed out that the child was playing Grand Theft Auto IV before the fatal shooting.

The game is rated "M" for mature audiences, is recommended for ages 17 and above, and has been associated with encouraging violence.

Neighbour Johnnie Scott said: "Where did she have the gun? Where did he see the gun, was it in his eyesight? That's the thought that goes through my head."

Police said that, prior to the shooting, Smothers was close to her grandson. "The victim and the juvenile had a normal, loving, relationship and even shared the same bedroom."

Child psychologist Kristopher Kaliebe said access to a violent video game may encourage aggressive behaviour.

He said: "From a behaviour therapy perspective, I would say that's practising.

"When you have a video game that is shooting at a human being, that is practising shooting at a human being."

The child is currently being looked after by his parents.

Because the boy is under 10 years old, he cannot be charged for any criminal behaviour under Louisiana law.

REVEALED - How Gareth Bale's 100 Million Euro Move To Real Madrid Broke Down

Gareth Bale's amazing 100 million euro move to Real Madrid has been the biggest football story all summer, and when the player was pictured lounging in a sunny Spanish swimming pool it seemed the final chapter was about to close.

Over the course of the last few months, the possibility of the Welshman heading to the Bernabeu for a world record fee has gone from far-fetched gossip to concrete reality.

Since late last week, newspapers in Britain and Spain have been reporting that the deal is now set in stone.

Both clubs have been talking openly about the possibility of the transfer, and everyone appears to be merely waiting for the lawyers to finalise the crazy £310,000-a-week contract for the 24-year-old.

Bale appeared to be waiting around for the deal, too: with Spurs having given him the weekend off, he headed out to Spain - where else? - to soak up the sun and prepare for his unveiling by Real.

Bale was tracked down by a Spanish media to a villa in Marbella, and was snapped through a gap in the fence enjoying a pleasant swim in the pool.

The Spanish media have since been camped outside the villa in question, but with no more reported sightings it seemed clear that Bale had been told to stay put until it was time for his unveiling.

A time and date was even provisionally set by Real: 2pm on Tuesday, in time for the unveiling and subsequent interviews to take place before the Spanish evening news.

Yet reports emerging from Tottenham on Monday claim that at least one other club has made a bid for the winger.

Manchester City, Paris St Germain and Monaco are the only clubs thought to be capable of matching or exceeding Real's £86 million bid for the superstar - and though it seems nonsensical that Bale himself would want to choose any of those sides ahead of the Spanish giants, particularly considering that the six-year deal he has been offered is worth 97 million euros in wages.

With the world of football at his feet, Bale would surely not want to move to Ligue 1, no matter what financial inducements were offered to him.

Lady Gaga Wears Bubble Wrap Pants

Lady Gaga stepped out in see-through pants in New York on Thursday, and we've come to the conclusion the singer is losing her edge.

Dressed in what looks like an elongated diaper with clear, plastic bubble wrap paneling on the sides, the 27-year-old singer showed off the unicorn tattoo on her upper thigh as she walked though NYC's busy streets.

Ever since Mother Monster parted ways with her longtime stylist Nicola Formichetti, when he quit last month, the star's style has taken a serious turn.

Her recent head-to-toe leather ensemble in the middle of the summer heat wasn't doing anything other than making her sweat, and at this point we're actually getting bored with how many times we've seen the singer go nude or next to naked.

Egypt Court Orders Release Of Former Ruler Mubarak As Crisis Deepens

Former hard-line Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ordered released from prison Wednesday by a Cairo court and could be free within days, a symbol of how the unfolding crisis in the country seems to have erased the promise for democratic gains promised by the Arab Spring.

Mubarak could be released from Cairo's Tora prison by Sunday, if not earlier, but he won't be fully free. Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi said in a statement that he ordered that Mubarak be placed under house arrest.

He will also remain on a list prohibiting him from leaving the country, and his assets are still frozen, a judicial source at the general prosecutor's office said.

Still, the fates of the pharaohs have turned over quickly in Egypt, with Mubarak ready to walk out of prison — while his democratically elected replacement, Mohamed Morsi, sits in an undisclosed military location.

The country’s general prosecutor said Wednesday that he will not appeal the Cairo court’s decision, meaning Mubarak will follow the basic release procedures and will be free within a maximum of 48 hours. A lawyer for Mubarak said that he could leave prison as early as Thursday after paperwork is filed.

The authoritarian ex-ruler still faces other court cases, including a retrial on charges of complicity in the killing of protesters amid the 2011 uprisings, but he has already served the maximum pretrial prison time allowed in the case, Reuters reported.

Some on the streets of Cairo on Wednesday said Mubarak’s release would do little to quell unrest in the country.

“Of course it will be unfair, after all that happened, to see someone in authority going free,” said Morad Girgis, a 33-year-old pharmacist, standing on the streets of the upscale neighborhood of Zamalek. “We know he was corrupt and lead to the protests. Even if he was involved in killing protestors, he was charged, so then should be punished.”

Others, like 28-year-old unemployed woman Nadia Saad, said the country was better off under Mubarak’s rule.

“I’m happy he will get out,” Saad said. “He was a good man. In his last speech, he said there would be chaos, and there was. In his time, it was secure and we could eat. Not like now.”

“It’s good and bad,” said Maged Gamal, 26, a lawyer. “What is good is that in Mubarak’s era there was security. But what was bad was that there was thuggery in the Army and police.”

He is the second deposed ruler of Egypt to be behind bars, along with the Brotherhood’s Morsi, who was democratically elected in 2012 following the collapse of Mubarak’s regime, only to be ousted by the military on July 3.

The 85-year-old Mubarak may have no political future, but his release could rile already strained emotions and raise questions about whether the popular uprising that ended his 30-year rule has only given way, after a fleeting interregnum, to a new form of jackboot government.

The spinning door at the top has helped exacerbate deep existing divisions in Egyptian society.

Morsi’s removal sparked street protests and violence, leading to the formation of sit-in camps by Islamist supporters, which were later cleared by security forces backed with bulldozers. Violent clashes in the aftermath of the camp clearings have led to the deaths of more than 800 civilians and 100 police officers and soldiers.

Although weakened by the death or arrest of some of its key leaders, the Muslim Brotherhood has vowed to bring down the army-backed interim government and has branded the ouster of Morsi amid widespread popular protests a “coup.”

Authorities arrested the group’s leader Mohamed Badie on Tuesday, but the group immediately appointed 69-year-old doctor Mahmoud Ezzat, who has been described as the Brotherhood’s “iron man,” as a temporary replacement.

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel called for an end to the violence on Monday, reiterating an earlier call from President Obama.

“As President Obama said last week, the violence must end,” Hagel said, adding that the United States cannot single-handedly shape the country’s political future. “Our ability to influence the outcome in Egypt is limited.”

Dad Dials Emergency 999 Because He Wants A Lift In Rain, And Police Oblige

He is reported to have said he would call the Police and Crime Commissioner if they refused to pick him up.

A dad dialled 999 because he wanted a lift in the rain – and police obliged when he threatened to complain.

Officers picked up the man and his children from a flyover and took them to a bus stop.

He is reported to have said he would call the Police and Crime Commissioner if they refused.

Details of the incident in Shoreham, West Sussex, emerged after a policeman posted it on Facebook.

A police spokesman later said: “Clearly 999 is for use only in emergencies.”

Street pastor Ian Chisnall, who stood for the Sussex Police and Crime and Commissioner post won by Tory Katy Bourne, said: “It was not an emergency, but full credit to the police.

“They helped some children and deserve a gold star.”

‘Prison Break’ Star Wentworth Miller Declares Publicly That He Is GAY!

Star of hit TV series Prison Break, Wentworth Miller, who played the part of lead actor Michael Scofield, has come out to the public as a gay man.

According to the report published in People.com, Wentworth came out as gay in an open letter declining an invitation to attend the St. Petersburg International Film Festival in Russia.

The open letter was published on the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation website.

“Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes,” Wentworth wrote. “However, as a gay man, I must decline.”

He added, “I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government.”

“The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.”

“Perhaps, when and if circumstances improve, I’ll be free to make a different choice.”

The letter is in light of the recent anti-gay law signed by Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Wentworth’s TV show “Prison Break” ran from 2005 to 2009. He also wrote and co-produced the 2013 thriller film “Stoker,” which starred Nicole Kidman and was directed by Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook.

Balotelli Gives Away $250K Bentley To Teammate Urby

image
ITALIAN SOCCER STAR Mario Balotelli is on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week.

Balotelli is known for doing outlandish things on and off the field, and the SI cover story by Grant Wahl is full of great tidbits.

One of the best ones: Balotelli just gave away his famous camouflage luxury car to a teammate.

The $250,000 Bentley Continental GT was a big part of the Balotelli mystique when he lived in England and played for Manchester City.

It was once peed on by a Manchester United fan as well.

Balotelli told SI that he gave the car to teammate Urby Emanuel, who subsequently look off the camouflage wrap and returned the car to its original white color.

Balotelli, Wahl said, seemed disappointed that he changed the color.

Engineers Closer To Battery-Free Wireless Devices

Using ambient backscatter, these devices can interact with users and communicate with each other without using batteries. They exchange information by reflecting or absorbing pre-existing radio signals.

We might be one step closer to an Internet-of-things reality.

Engineers have created a new wireless communication system that allows devices to interact with each other without relying on batteries or wires for power.

The new communication technique, which the researchers call “ambient backscatter,” takes advantage of the television and cellular transmissions that already surround us around the clock. Two devices communicate with each other by reflecting the existing signals to exchange information. The researchers built small, battery-free devices with antennas that can detect, harness and reflect a television signal, which then is picked up by other similar devices.

The technology could enable a network of devices and sensors to communicate with no power source or human attention needed.

“We can repurpose wireless signals that are already around us into both a source of power and a communication medium,” said lead researcher Shyam Gollakota, a UW asst. prof. of computer science and engineering. “It’s hopefully going to have applications in a number of areas including wearable computing, smart homes and self-sustaining sensor networks.”

The researchers published their results at the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Data Communication 2013 conference.

“Our devices form a network out of thin air,” said co-author Joshua Smith, a UW assoc. prof. of computer science and engineering and of electrical engineering. “You can reflect these signals slightly to create a Morse code of communication between battery-free devices.”

Smart sensors could be built and placed permanently inside nearly any structure, then set to communicate with each other. For example, sensors placed in a bridge could monitor the health of the concrete and steel, then send an alert if one of the sensors picks up a hairline crack. The technology can also be used for communication in wearable devices, without requiring battery consumption.

Groups of the devices were tested in a variety of settings in the Seattle area, including inside an apartment building, on a street corner and on the top level of a parking garage. These locations ranged from less than half a mile away from a TV tower to about 6.5 miles away.

They found that the devices were able to communicate with each other, even the ones farthest from a TV tower. The receiving devices picked up a signal from their transmitting counterparts at a rate of 1 kilobit per second when up to 2.5 ft apart outdoors and 1.5 ft apart indoors. This is enough to send information such as a sensor reading, text messages and contact information.

World's Largest Yatch Owned By Emir Of Abu Dhabi

Even if you don’t know anything about yachts, you know that Russian billionaire businessman Roman Abramovich has held the title for owning the largest yacht in the world, the Eclipse, for some time now (about three years).

Well, his winning (or yachting) streak has now come to an end. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nayan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Abu Dhabi, is responsible for the fate of Abramovich’s streak, after having a 590-foot super yacht built.

The name of the 590-foot super yacht is the Azzam Yacht by Lurssen, and apparently, it’s longer than 12 double-decker buses. Oh, and not only is it the largest yacht, but it’s also rumored to be the fastest.

According to the yacht maker, this 94,000 horsepower vessel can reach speeds of more than 35mph! That’s lightning speed for a yacht this size. You wouldn’t want to witness this thing coming in strong off the coast, that’s for sure.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nayan’s Azzam yacht was designed by Nauta Yachts and then constructed by Lurssen in Bremen. The yacht was launched in April for the first time and has been on the water ever since.

Although Abramovich’s Eclipse yacht is smaller, it still holds a bigger price tag at about $1 billion. The Azzam yacht has a $600 million price tag. There haven’t been any photos of the inside of the Azzam, but sources say the yacht is set to offer the highest grade of luxury, similar to the Eclipse yacht.

This means there will be a movie theater, built-in spa, helicopter landing pad, multiple pools/jacuzzis, a mini-submarine and its own missile defense system (you never know).

Kanye West Spends Over $4m On Armoured Vehicles For His Family

Kanye West will evidently spare no expense to possess two high-performance armored vehicles to protect Kim Kardashian and their baby daughter North.

Inspired by the President's Limo One, the 36-year-old rapper has reportedly spent $1.2 million each for two Prombron Iron Diamonds by Dartz Motorz.

It's the Latvian company that angered PETA for featuring leather interior made from the foreskin of a whale penis.

On the Dartz website, the Iron Diamond is said to prevent kidnapping, hijacking and 'other problems which can meet rich and lonely lady on the street.'

Two-month-old 'Nori' should rest easy inside the super-SUV 'built to withstand attacks from landmines and rocket-propelled grenades.'

'Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths,' a source told the Daily Star.

'He aims to leave nothing to chance...His priority is to get delivery of the vehicles, especially Kim's, before he begins his US tour in October.'

The 21-time Grammy winner apparently decided to beef up security for his family at Jay Z's suggestion.

The Mercy rapper and his partner of 16 months will also reportedly employ two bodyguards and use body doubles as decoys for paparazzi.

The source ominously added: 'If there have been any kidnapping threats already against their daughter, he isn’t saying. But that fear is clearly in his mind.'

According to Us Weekly, the Black Skinhead hitmaker 'doesn't leave North for more than an hour' and he tenderly 'holds the baby all the time.'

Kanye's new album Yeezus debuted at number one in 31 countries, but due to lack of promotion the overall sales have been disappointing.

Scientists Invent ‘death test’ That Tells How Long To Live

Scientists have developed a ‘death test’ that can tell people how long they have to live.

The non-invasive procedure involves applying a painless laser pulse to the surface of the skin through a wristwatch-style device.

This measures how a person’s body will decline with age by analysing endothelial cells, the Sunday Times reports.

These cells line the smallest blood vessels - capillaries – in our bodies and respond to complex activity elsewhere in the body.

By measuring the oscillations within the cells, the scientists say they can calculate the length of time before death and also test for diseases including cancer and dementia.

The result is graded from 0 for death to 100 for optimum functioning with the predictions becoming more accurate as more data is added.

A user-friendly version of the system is expected to be completed within the next three years.

The test was developed by two physics professors from Lancaster University, Aneta Stefanovska and Peter McClintock, with the help of grants from medical charities and government research bodies.

Professor Stefanovska is credited with inventing the method of analysing endothelial reactivity.

‘I am hoping we will build a database that will become larger and larger, so every person person measured can be compared against it,’ she said.

‘We will then be in a position to tell them the values [that] predict a certain number of years.’

Arsenal Offer Luis Suarez £160,000-a-week Contract to Complete Move From Liverpool

Arsenal are ready to make Luis Suarez the best paid player in the club’s history if they can finally sign him from Liverpool this summer.

The Gunners have made buying Suarez their number one priority, and have already offered a club record fee of £42million to sign him.

Liverpool have turned that bid down, and insist the player will stay put but Arsene Wenger is increasingly confident he will get his man.

According to reports in Uruguay, the Frenchman has already drawn up a four-year-contract for Suarez to sign, that would see him take home £160,000-a-week at the Emirates Stadium.

Suarez currently earns around £120,000-a-week after negotiating a pay rise last summer, but Arsenal are willing to blow that amount out of the water.

Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott currently lead Arsenal’s rigid wage structure, both pocketing £100,000-a-week each, but Suarez would be a special case.

He is seen as a marquee edition to the squad, and the work he is doing to force a transfer will be rewarded if the deal goes through with a signing on big fee already mooted.

Arsenal expect movement on this deal in the next few days.

Norway PM Jens Stoltenberg Works As Secret Taxi Driver

Norwegian PM Jens Stoltenberg spent an afternoon working incognito as a taxi driver in Oslo, he has revealed.

Mr Stoltenberg said he had wanted to hear from real Norwegian voters and that taxis were one of the few places where people shared their true views.

He wore sunglasses and an Oslo taxi driver's uniform for the shift in June, only revealing his identity once he was recognised by his passengers.

His exchanges with his passengers were captured on a hidden camera.

I'm pretty well known in Oslo, but I tend to sit in the back seat”Jens StoltenbergPrime minister

The footage - made in collaboration with an advertising company - has been posted on the Prime Minister's Facebook page and made into a film which will be used as part of his campaign for re-election in September.

"It is important for me to hear what people really think," he told Norwegian media.

"And if there is one place people really say what they think about most things, it's in the taxi."

Some of the passengers who appear in the film had been told to wait for the taxi - without being told who would be driving - while others were picked up randomly and from taxi ranks.

Most of them appear to realise very quickly that there is something different about their driver, with one saying: "From this angle you really look like Stoltenberg."

Another says she was lucky to meet him as she "wanted to send a letter".

The conversation turns to politics in most cases.

Mr Stoltenberg engages one passenger on education, saying: "The main point is to make sure good students have something to stretch for, and to give those who struggle extra help."

None of the passengers was charged for the ride.

Mr Stoltenberg told the VG newspaper: "I'm pretty well known in Oslo, but I tend to sit in the back seat."

United States To Reopen 18 Diplomatic Missions After Terrorist Threat

The U.S. State Department says 18 of the 19 embassies and consulates in the Middle East and Africa that were closed due to a security threat will reopen Sunday.

The U.S. embassy in Yemen's capital, Sanaa, will remained closed.

The 19 posts have been closed since Sunday.

U.S. intelligence late last week intercepted electronic conversations in which the al-Qaida chief in Pakistan, Ayman al-Zawahri, ordered the head of its branch in Yemen to carry out an attack.

But the two terrorists did not specify exactly where and when the attacks would take place.

The State Department did not specify why it had decided to resume operations at the missions.

Separately, the U.S. consulate in Lahore, Pakistan, which closed Thursday due to a separate threat, also will remain closed.

Lady GaGa Goes Fully Naked In Kickstarter Video For Marina Abrahamovic Institute (Images)

There are ways to make a successful Kickstarter campaign, and Lady GaGa takes a bold move to achieve it.

The pop icon, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, sparks internet frenzy as a bizarre Kickstarter video that has recently hit the web features the 27-year-old singer fully naked in the wilderness.

In the video benefiting the Marina Abramovic Institute, the Mother Monster is seen practicing the Serbian artist's "method," a series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience.

Beginning with her lying on the floor singing a single note with the same audio continuing throughout the clip, it later follows the Grammy winner raising her arms up and bending over with her eyes blindfolded.

As of this writing, the art project has collected $231,202 of a $600,000 goal with 17 days left to go. Those who are interested can help finance the project starting from $1 to $10,000.

Last week, GaGa and Abramovic attended an event to benefit the Watermill Center in New York. The performance artist is currently collaborating with the "Born This Way" hitmaker on her upcoming fourth studio album "ARTPOP".

GaGa is set to perform new track off the forthcoming album, "Applause", at the MTV Music Awards, airing live August 25. It will be her first performance post-hip surgery in February.

Usher Raymond: Judge Denies Wife Custody of Sons After Swimming Pool Accident

A judge in Atlanta on Friday denied the ex-wife of R&B singer Usher temporary primary custody of their two children after one of them was hospitalized following a swimming pool accident at Usher's house.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge John J. Goger dismissed the motion for primary custody filed on Tuesday by Tameka Foster, saying that there was no reason for the singer to relinquish primary custody because of one accident.

Usher, 34, has custody of 5-year-old Usher Raymond V and his younger brother Naviyd, 4.

The Grammy winner and coach on NBC's TV singing contest "The Voice" won custody of the boys last year. He was married to Foster, 42, from 2007 to 2009.

In her court filing, Foster had alleged that Usher failed to personally exercise physical custody of the children by using caregivers and also traveled excessively, which took away from his parenting time.

The singer, whose full name is Usher Raymond IV, was not at his Atlanta area home on Monday when Usher Raymond V's arm got caught in a swimming pool drain when he tried to retrieve a toy.

The boys' aunt, Rena Oden, and two other women tried to pull the child free but could not. Contractors installing audio-visual equipment at the house jumped into the pool, rescued him and administered CPR.

"What happened here was an awful accident," Goger said when explaining his decision. "Based on the evidence here, I'm not certain that one person could have done any better than Ms. Oden. Ms. Oden did impress me."

Usain Bolt: King of 100m yet Again

Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt reclaimed his 100m crown at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow on Sunday.

Bolt timed a season's best 9.77 seconds, with American Justin Gatlin claiming silver in 9.85sec and Nesta Carter, also of Jamaica, taking bronze in 9.95sec.

It was Bolt's sixth world gold medal after the sprint treble in the 2009 worlds in Berlin and a double showing in Daegu in 2011, where teammate Yohan Blake claimed 100m gold after Bolt was disqualified for a false start.

Athletics' credibility had again been called to account in recent weeks, notably after American sprint rival Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell tested positive for drugs.
Once again it was Bolt, the powerfully-built 26-year-old world record holder in both the 100 and 200m, who came to the rescue, at least in the short term.

The sole blot on the Jamaican's copybook since winning treble gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics was a false start two years ago in the Daegu worlds that saw now-injured teammate Yohan Blake take the blue riband title.
The race itself was "classic" Bolt in front of a Luzhniki Stadium that was far from being a sell-out in stormy weather.

Modestly, but safely, out of the blocks, Bolt's head and shoulders remained low as he drove into the opening metres.
While his reaction time might have been slower than all but one other in the field, he soon reeled in the opposition.

Come the 50 metre mark and Bolt pushed his huge frame through his renowed transition phase, head coming up and long legs pumping, teeth gritted and eyes on the big screen beyond the finish line.
He moved past Gatlin on his left and had a brief look over at Carter on his right before putting on the after-burners.

In the build-up to the evening session, the "Bolt effect" could be seen in the crowd, as one of sport's biggest names once again proved his worth as an athlete and main drawcard for a track and field meet.

The sparsely-populated stadium had filled out and excitement grew as the race approached.
With Bob Marley blazing over the tannoy, television cameras picked out each racer, but played on Bolt in lane six, dressed in black and green shorts and the yellow and black singlet of the Jamaican team.

To the delight of the crowd, he mimed getting out a portable umbrella as heavy rain started to fall, drawing laughter and applause.

As the starter called them to the blocks, Bolt put a finger to his lips to hush the crowd, briefly crossing himself and looking skywards as the television zoomed in and his picture was broadcast on the big stadium screen.

The race didn't even last 10 seconds but the gold saw Bolt also move within touching distance of equalling American sprint legend Carl Lewis' record of eight world gold medals.

'Dead' Man Wakes Up..Grabs A Bottle Of Water

Onlookers were shocked when a man, who was said to be dead, suddenly got up and grabbed a bottle of water.

The soft drink vendor in China faked his own death in order to sue the government after an altercation with government employees.
But his cover was blown when he became too hot in the Hubei Province, in central China. The heat was too much for him to bear.

The incident occurred around 4:00 pm, when more than 10 men held the “corpse” on a gurney covered with a white sheet near the Jianghan Road subway station in the provincial capital of Wuhan.
The men protested and claimed that the government workers had beaten the vendor to death and they demanded tens of thousands of yuan in compensation.

More than 300 people gathered at the scene, and 80 police officers were sent to the scene to maintain order.

After two hours of protest, the “dead” man suddenly stood up, grabbed a bottle of water and drank it before saying: “It’s too hot. I cannot take it anymore.”
According to Human Rights Watch, many Chinese cities employ non-criminal law enforcement personnel called chengguan who work independently from police. Their job is to monitor citizens compliance with sanitation, traffic, and environmental laws.

The group is not very popular with the Chinese public after a series of high-profile violent incidents involving chengguan members. In the latest incident, six chengguan members were detained after a fruit seller in Hunan died after the group hit him on the head amid an altercation.

The “dead” man, whose surname is Han, along with two others have, been arrested for disorderly conduct. After being detained, Han told police that chengguan members clashed with vendors early in the day after claiming that their carts were blocking traffic. They told the vendors to leave before confiscating their mineral waters and other beverages.

Shark Bites Man As He Kissed It

Diving guide Dave Marcel had been taking tourists out on Elbow Reef off Key Largo, Florida for years - allowing them to interact with the reef's wildlife including the 300-pound nurse shark.

These sharks are not usually aggressive, and love being petted.

Marcel would prove their harmlessness by kissing the sharks, and then allowing the tourists to do the same.

Until the day one of the sharks bit back.

The shark bite was caught on camera and aired on Discovery Channel as a part of this year's 'Shark Week.'

Marcel's key mistake that day was flipping the shark upside down before planting a smooch - something he hadn't done before.

Marcel didn't realize that since the shark's eyes are on top of it's head, it wouldn't see him and would assume he was being fed fish.

Instead of passively receiving the peck, the shark bit down with all 500 of it's razor-sharp teeth.

Lesson of the bite: don't kiss a shark Spider-Man style.

Marcel, not about to let a shark bite get him down, was out in the water again three days later.

'You can not be a wild animal handler without having the expectation that you will be bitten,' Marcel said. 'It's a part of the job.'

Forbes Billionaire Oprah Winfrey Racially Abused In Switzerland By Shop Assistant

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has said she was racially attacked during a visit to Switzerland. The BBC reports that she said an assistant refused to serve her in an upmarket handbag shop in Zurich.

Winfrey, one of the world’s richest women, was apparently told the bags on display were “too expensive” for her.

Her claims, made to a US television programme, come amid a political row over plans by some Swiss towns to ban asylum-seekers from some public places.

The BBC’s Imogen Foulkes in Berne says human rights groups have likened the plans – which include banning asylum-seekers from swimming pools, playing fields and libraries – to apartheid.

Winfrey, who stars in Lee Daniels’ new film The Butler, visited Zurich last month to attend singer Tina Turner’s wedding. The Oprah Winfrey Show is not shown in Switzerland.

Winfrey said she left the shop calmly without arguing, but that the experience was proof that racism continues to be a problem.

“There’s two different ways to handle it,” she said.

“I could’ve had the whole blow-up thing… but it still exists, of course it does.”

Her claims are a public relations disaster for Switzerland, our correspondent says.

About 48,000 people are currently seeking asylum in Switzerland. It has twice as many asylum seekers as the European average.

Officials say the curbs, which will also see asylum-seekers housed in special centres, are aimed at preventing tensions with residents.

The country’s asylum laws were tightened in June.

Kenyan Lawyer Looks To Overturn Jesus’ Death Sentence, Looks To Prosecute Jews/Italians

A Kenyan lawyer has filed a lawsuit with the International Court of Justice to overturn the conviction of Jesus Christ.

According to the Huffington Post, Dola Indidis’s roster of defendants consists of Pontius Pilate, former Roman Emperor King Herod, and the states of Israel and Italy.

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidis told Kenyan News Site Standard Media.

“His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

Israel and Italy are included in the suit, Indidis explained to another news source, because those countries have ties to the Holy Roman Empire.

“The government for whom they acted still is answerable for their act,” Indidis told Kenya’s Citizen TV. “Pontius Pilate was acting under the government of Rome, which was headed by Caesar.”

He told the news station that he will of course look to the Bible as his primary source of evidence, which is why he thinks he has a good case.

The Religious News Service noted that Indidis will look to the trial of Joan of Arc as evidence for the precedent of his request. Joan of Arc was burned at the stake, but according to the Bible, the verdict in her case was reversed by a papal commission many years after her death.

But regardless of Indidis’ documented evidence, the ICJ denied that they would hear the case when website Legal Cheek inquired about the court’s response to the suit.

“It is not even theoretically possible for us to consider this case,” the ICJ reportedly said.
